Julie Oswin Photography ltd - due to demand for our wedding photography during 2011 we have had to CLOSE OUR DIARY FOR 2011.
We have had phenomenal success photographing many wonderful WEDDINGS and EVENTS during 2011 and the last 18 months that we cannot take anymore wedding bookings for 2011. However, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our couples, their family, and their friends for recommending us and of course the many WEDDING VENUES that have recommended us too!
Janet & I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the couples and customers that we have met so far and for making Julie Oswin Photography ltd the success it is.
We know that you have enjoyed our relaxed, informal style of photography and we remember each and every wedding with smile. THANK YOU!

The Government have outlined plans for night-time weddings to take place in the future. The changes allowing marriages to take place 24 hours a day in England and Wales are part of the Protection Of Freedoms Bill. They will also apply to civil partnerships.
Currently couples can only wed between 0800 and 1800 under rules dating back to the Marriage Act 1836. This will not introduce ‘spur of the moment’ marriages like in the Las Vegas style Chapels; Couples will still have to give at least 15 days notice.
Julie’s comment on this news… “This is absolutely brilliant news for all couples! Couples will be able to have romantic candlelit ceremonies, with fireworks just after the ceremony with the Drinks Reception. There will be so much more opportunity for true professional photographers to capture the atmosphere, use their creative lighting and photographic skills to photograph a wedding without daylight! People forget that photography is a skill, an Art form. Experienced, fully trained photographers use the available light to paint their images with the light, bringing them to life. They do not shoot thousands of images at a wedding hoping to get just a few useable shots, that simply is not photography”.

Deanne & Stuart’s Civil Ceremony was held at Norwood Park, Southwell.
A superb venue chosen by the couple.
Deanne’s brother Jimmy flew from Australia with his girlfriend Mandy and her parents for the wedding. Deanne & Stuart’s daughter Millie was one of Deanne’s Flowergirls. Ella was their God Daughter. Bridesmaids were Jo, Emily & Lucy.
Stuart had two Best Men, James & his brother Russell. The couple had a fabulous day at Norwood Park. Deanne’s attention to detail was clearly on display around the venue but the Sweetie Bar was without doubt the star attraction of the day.
The gorgeous September sunshine through the trees captures this special moment.
Female Wedding Photographer, Julie Oswin captured Debbie & Andrew wedding day as they were at St Margarets Church, Old Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire and the reception was held at the splendid Nottinghamshire Wedding Venue, Norwood Park, Southwell.
Debbie’s Bridesmaids were Amy, Sarah and her daughter Amelia.
Amelia was just two years old and loved her pink fluffy shawl.
Amelia’s brother Rylan was the Page Boy.
Andrew’s Brother Daniel was the Best Man. Debbie’s brother Andrew was the Usher.
